This year, we will not be having a Paint Creek Crawl cycling event. We decided to focus on stewardship of the trail, so we will be celebrating National Trails Day with a Garlic Mustard Pull. Garlic Mustard is an invasive species and prevents native plants from growing. For more information, visit our Garlic Mustard Pull page.
However, if you are interested in a fun cycling event, we have partnered with Motor City Bike and Brew Tours for “Cruisin for the Trails” on May 7, 2016. Enjoy a bike ride along the Clinton River Trail and Paint Creek Trail to the Paint Creek Cider Mill, where there is a Special New Belgium Brewing Themed SAG stop (Beer and Donuts). There will also be a Post-ride New Belgium Brewing tap event at Clubhouse BFD with drink specials, plenty of giveaways and a charity raffle to WIN a FAT TIRE bike! For more information, and to register, visit http://www.paintcreektrailfriends.org/
We will decide later this year on next year’s event.
