Paint Creek Junction Grant Application

The Charter Township of Oakland Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a public hearing to receive public comments on Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant Application TF18-0098 for Development of a Northern Trailhead to support pedestrian and equestrian use of the Paint Creek and Iron Belle Trails.This proposed parking lot and trail connection will be located at Oakland Township’s Paint Creek Junction Park; 2210 and 2280 Orion Road, Oakland, MI  48363 between Clarkston and Adams Roads.

The Public Hearing will be held Wednesday, March 14 ,2018 at 7:00pm at the Oakland Township Hall, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, MI  48306.

Copies of the draft grant application will be available for public inspection beginning Tuesday, March 6, 2018 on the Oakland Township website at, at the reference desk of the Rochester Hills Public Library, and the Parks and Recreation Offices at the Paint Creek Cider Mill, 4480 Orion Road, Rochester, MI  48306 and at the Oakland Township Hall.  Written comments can be emailed to or mailed to “OT Parks 2018 Paint Creek Trailhead Grant Application”, 4393 Collins Road, Rochester, MI  48306 until March 20, 2018.
