Open Meetings

The Trailways Commission meets on the third Tuesday of each month (A full meeting schedule can be found on our Meeting Information page, and Agendas & Meeting Packets can be found here).  However, occasions arise when the Trailways Commission or advisory committees are asked to meet for site visits, or to discuss or research upcoming projects, policies, or issues to be brought back to the full Commission for discussion and action. There is not a quorum present (unless noted) during advisory committee discussions, and no motions or votes take place.  The following advisory committee meetings are planned, and are open to the public:

Village of Lake Orion Ad-Hoc Committee Meeting

The Lake Orion Ad-Hoc Committee will be meeting to discuss the Village of Lake Orion becoming a member of the Paint Creek Trailways Commission.  No quorum will be present, and no decisions will be made. The meeting is open to the public.

Village of Lake Orion – Trail extension Site Visit – Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 9:00am.

Location:  Paint Creek Trail Atwater Trailhead (located behind Kentucky Fried Chicken on Lapeer Road, south of Atwater Street, in Lake Orion)

Several members of the Paint Creek Trailways Commission may be attending an informal tour of the planned Paint Creek Trail extension in the Village of Lake Orion. A quorum may be present, but no motions or votes, or any legislative action, will be taken on any issue.  This is an open, informational tour of the planned extension route, and is open to the public.
